West Midlands House and Beet Consultancy Ltd Launch Menopause Support Group

West Midlands House, the Willenhall-based business centre that has supported the local business community for over three decades, has announced a new partnership with Beet Consultancy Ltd to launch a Menopause Support Group – the latest in a long line of wellbeing initiatives that set this workspace apart.

For more than 30 years, West Midlands House has provided first-class, supportive workspaces for small and start-up businesses across the region. Central to its success has always been a commitment that goes beyond bricks and mortar: nurturing the health, wellbeing and professional growth of every business owner, employee and visitor who walks through its doors.

This new partnership is a direct expression of the values that have guided West Midlands House since its founding. People are at the heart of everything the organisation does, and supporting the whole person, not just the professional, has always been integral to its identity.

That commitment is now taking a powerful new form. In partnership with Kerry Tonks of Beet Consultancy Ltd, West Midlands House has launched a Menopause Support Group – a safe, welcoming space where both women and men can come together to talk openly about the effects of perimenopause and menopause, share experiences, and access knowledge and support.

The group has already proven highly successful, regularly welcoming attendees not only from West Midlands House but from businesses across the wider area, a testament to just how needed this kind of open, stigma-free conversation is in the modern workplace.

“What makes West Midlands House special isn’t the building – it’s the people. Bringing this group together, opening our doors to the wider business community, and watching people leave feeling less alone – that’s exactly why I do what I do” — Jeni Sellick, West Midlands House Ltd

A Space Where No One Feels Alone

“The Menopause Support Groups are designed to bring women together to share the air, and learn more. It can be very isolating, for some. We want to create a space, so no-one feels alone and can have options to explore towards their health, wellbeing and happiness.”

— Kerry Tonks, Beet Consultancy Ltd

This initiative sits alongside a rich portfolio of community-minded programmes at West Midlands House, including Netwalking in the nearby Willenhall Memorial Park and the Empower Networking Group, which champions and supports women in business across the Black Country .

The Menopause Support Group is open to businesses beyond West Midlands House, and all are warmly encouraged to attend. It reflects the organisation’s wider philosophy: that a truly great workspace is one that supports people as whole human beings, not just as professionals.
