OWL GROUP ACQUIRES WORCESTERSHIRE DEVELOPMENT SITE

Award-winning housebuilder, Owl Group has completed the purchase of a 3.74 acre parcel of land in Worcestershire for an undisclosed sum.

At Stonebow Road in Drakes Broughton, Owl Partnerships, Owl Group’s affordable housing business, will deliver 30 brand new affordable homes. Detailed planning consent has already been secured for the site on the village’s northern edge and includes a mix of 1-4 bedroom homes together with private parking and new landscaping.

“This acquisition represents another important milestone in Owl Group’s growth across the West Midlands,” explains Paul Breen, Owl Group’s Managing Director for the West Midlands.  “Stonebow Road will be our fourth active site in the region with a further 17 in the pipeline.

“Drakes Broughton has a fantastic community spirit with local shops, schools, pubs, sports teams and more. It’s certainly somewhere people are proud to call home. As we continue to expand across the region, we’re focused on bringing forward developments that have a lasting impact. We’re confident Drakes Broughton can continue to grow with these high-quality homes that will enable people to put down roots and remain part of the village community,” adds Paul.

Homes at Drakes Broughton comprise six different designs, including some with striking dual aspect views. The development will include the retention of green corridors along the northern and western boundaries, along with extensive new trees and planting.

Paul continues: “This site has been well-planned with plenty of space for everyday life. It will create a welcoming and attractive new neighbourhood where residents can settle into their new homes while also feeling part of the village.

“We will shortly announce our housing association partner before beginning construction in Q3 2026.”
