London Northwestern Railway confirms industrial action has been suspended

London Northwestern Railway (LNR) has announced that two days of strike action planned for this weekend have been suspended.

On Friday 31 July and Saturday 1 August, a reduced service was expected to be in operation on the LNR network due to strike action by members of the TSSA trade union.

This strike action has been suspended following further talks with the trade union and a full service will now run to the normal timetable.

Jonny Wiseman, customer experience director at LNR, said: “We are pleased the TSSA has suspended its strike action, which would have been disruptive for our customers. We now look forward to running our usual timetable on Friday and Saturday.”
