CITY CENTRE HAIR SALON OFFERING DISCOUNT FOR NEW CUSTOMERS
A hair salon in Wolverhampton city centre is offering new customers a 10% discount off the cost of their first appointment.
The New Era Hair Studio – at City of Wolverhampton College’s City Learning Quarter campus, in St George’s parade – offers a range of styling, barbering and colouring services for women and men, with prices starting at just £5.
Appointments can be booked with trained stylists, or with students who are training to become qualified hairdressers and barbers and work under the guidance of qualified tutors and assessors.
Prices are available to suit all budgets, with a fringe trim costing £5, a cut and blow dry costing £15-£25 with a student or £35 with a stylist, and perms starting at £15.
The salon also offers a range of colouring treatments, including permanent colours starting at £20, foils from £25 and balayage from £55, as well as specialist treatments for African Caribbean hair.
For male customers, beard trims are available from £2 and cuts from £7, while cuts for children aged 7-11 start at £15.

All bookings will require a deposit which will be deducted from the final bill and clients booking a colour service will need to attend the salon for a skin test 48 hours before their appointment.
New city centre campus
The college’s new City Learning Quarter campus opened in November 2025 and replaces the 63-year-old Paget Road campus, in Compton.
The four-storey purpose-built site boasts a range of professional training equipment and facilities including science labs, digital areas, hair and beauty training salons, and professional broadcast, music, photography and performing arts studios, as well as modern classrooms with interactive teaching and learning technology.
The campus offers full-time and part-time vocational courses in art, design, business and management, catering and hospitality, computing and digital, creative media, games design and e-sports, hair and beauty, health and social care, music technology, performing arts, photography and science, along with A-levels in a range of subjects.
Also on offer are short courses to improve English and maths skills, ESOL courses for speakers of other languages, and employment and preparation for work programmes for job seekers.
