Chairman Neil Chambers resigns from Darlaston Town with immediate effect
Neil Chambers Chairman of both Darlaston Town 1874 & Darlaston Town has resigned from all positions held within both companies
This week the Directors of Darlaston Town have reluctantly accepted the resignation of Chairman Neil Chambers with immediate effect, Neil cited personal and family reasons for his resignation.
Neil was the major driving force in reforming the club in 2013 and under his stewardship has taken the club from nothing to playing ins Step 4 of the Non-league Pyramid and as a Committee and Directors we are all exceptionally grateful for the vision, drive and input of Neil for the past 12 years.
The Club Directors and Committee have appointed ex player, coach and current Committee Member Anthony Follows as interim Chairman with immediate effect.
I am sure the supporters will welcome Anthony to his new role within the club, and of course everyone connected with the club would wish Neil the very best for whatever the future holds for him.
